Re: “King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church

Hi this is Shelia Foster. My grandma was on the mother's board before she took ill. My husband proposed to me. My mama is on the usher board. I enjoy both of my grand kids. Their names are Jaylon James Thornton and Destiny Semay Thornton. I take amlodipine and lisinop for my high blood pressure. Hopefully I will see them one day. I do practice safe sex now but only with my husband. Trying to live a Godly life and not pass this liver condition I have contract ed.

Re: “Gibson's Donuts

One of Memphis places to go. Their donuts are too too good. Terrific variety. Open late too. Seasonal surprises too. Made fresh very early each morning. In addition to super glazed, we like the caramel iced donuts and the apple fritters. Coffee makes it all go down even better.

Re: “Temple of the Sacred Gift

I joined this church because it is one of the only places where Pagans can meet up in a safe friendly environment! From the first time I stepped through the doors, I have felt nothing but love and friendliness. The clergy are wonderful people, who actually take time to help those newer to the path understand what is going on. I highly recommend everyone come and see for themselves, there is nothing but love and happiness here!

Everyone at TSG follows their own path, and at rituals we follow a more streamlined ritual. So far I have never seen any one pushed out, or ignored. Again I highly recommend this church.

We had a waiter,Tim, who went beyond the call of duty to make sure we had an exceptional experience. I'm telling all my friends and family to drop by when in Memphis! I had a much need enjoyable evening!!
Thank you Onix team!

Re: “Shang Hai

Best Egg Rolls around, and very good hot and sour soup.

Nothing fancy here, but the Chinese is above average for Memphis.

Re: “Abuelo's Mexican Food Embassy

This is the best Mexican in town, since El Chico closed.

Re: “Farmer, The

Excellent friendly service. Cool, small, European-feel to the restaurant. DELICIOUS food. Excellent quality dishes, and from all local products. Highly recommended.

Re: “Imagine Vegan Cafe

They cater my church's Wednesday night dinner (Orthodox Christian, so we don't eat meat, fish, or dairy on Wednesday, Friday, or during a fasting period like lent) and it was very good. You won't mistake their burger for the real thing, but as veggie burgers go, it was probably the best I've had.

Re: “Silver Caboose

The Silver Caboose is conveniently located on Collierville's square where there is very good parking. The atmosphere is inviting, the service is good, and the food is tasty. This is good restaurant for everyone;however, the menu seems to favor women's tastes. It's not a man's meat and potatoes place, but it does serve home cooked dishes which everyone enjoys, especially turnip greens, cornbread, chicken & dumplings, and chicken on cornbread covered with gravy, a.k.a. The Lacey Special. Take someone with you to lunch at the Silver Caboose.

Re: “Sweet Grass

Can't quit give this place 5 starts but the food has always been really good. They have a great beer selection!

If I had to recommend one improvement it's e the menu... everything they have is OK but I tend to order the same one or two dishes. The other items just don't grab me.

Re: “Tsunami

I suspect the truth lies between the two above reviews. I've never had a bad meal here. It's a bit "foo-foo" for my tastes but my wife loves it.

The beer selection is decent. They have 1 or 2 good craft brews and they also serve the Bud/Busch garbage for those that like it.

Wait staff are always really nice.

Re: “Young Avenue Deli

The food is bar fare but it's a bar so what do you want? Actually, the food is much better than other similar places.

The beer selection is what draws me. It really gives Flying Saucer a run for its money. That alone would rate it 4-5 stars.

Factor is the food and it rates 3.5 but I'll round up in this case.

Re: “Saigon Le

Much of the food is average but if you know what to order it can be great. It's not always consistent so a dish that's terrific one night might be so-so the next. That said, when they get it right they really serve up a great meal. Try the hot-and-sour soups or the tofu with lemongrass.

Attitude has always been and will always be unfriendly. They're know for that and I ignore it.

Re: “Soul Fish Cafe

Great food but extremely crowded. Word got out about this place now it's impossible to get in on a Fri/Sat night.

Re: “Kwik Chek

Great little hole-in-the-wall. Falafil is wonderful. Kinda dirty at times but no deal killer.
