Re: “MemphoFest debuts, nice and easy

Fabulous festival with stellar musicians and lineup. Beautiful month to hold tbis in . Weather was perfect. Hopefully next year shuttles will run as parking area was 25 min walk from gate .More food vendors would be appreciated . The water bottle refill stations and cell charger areas were nice. I would suggest it to be handicapped friendly also . I loved the giant big screen and the lighting for the colored trees and the sound system was amazing . Exciting to have a new music festoval . Thanks Memphofest

Re: “MEMPHO: Your New Music Festival

I purchase 4 tickets on the first day of sale and still have not received them as of October 2 at 3:00pm. I have emailed them 4 or 5 times and have not gotten a single response from them. Am I the only one that is having this issue with this festival group?

Re: “Honoring the legendary Beatles/Arkansas connection

Off-topic a bit, but it was brought to mind by the photo of the decals and "Arkansas". One of the weirdest mis-matched concert line-ups I have seen was a Memphis concert by James Brown featuring Black Oak Arkansas as the opening band:)

Re: “Tramp-Rock Troubador

That should be Trop Rock, not Tramp Rock. Trop, as in tropical.

Re: “MEMPHO: Your New Music Festival

Anyone remember "The Soybean Jam" festival at the Farms from 1979? That was also in October and it was a fantastic setting and time of year for a music festival. looking forward to something fresh and NOT downtown!

Where is "Shelby Farms" and why aren't Todd Snider and his Hard Working Americans playing the Shell?

Re: “The Swinging Sixties

Believe Club La Rond (?) was on Cleveland and Union, saw Charlie Rich there. Bunny Lee danced in a lot of the places in crosstown. Remember well the late nights with honeysuckle in the air, on the way down to Hernando's Hideaway.
