LoveBC, The Crazy Horse statue/memorial is on private land. If the Confederate necrophiliacs want to build a giant statue of Forrest buggering one of his slave boys **on private property**, more power to 'em; get their Mapplethorpe on.
But excellent point comparing Custer and Forrest.

Crazy House was also a excellent light cav leader, like Forrest, that owned LTC George Custard. Custard captured more confederate flags than any other union officer, and as a brevet MG, Custard's aggressive attacks on Lee's Army of Virginia brought a quicker end to the civil war.

Therefore, are we to keep the statues of Crazy Horse since he also raised arms against the Federal Government?

Toby, Toby, Toby......when I googled "swarthy" images of pirates popped up as in "Pirates of the Caribbean"....arrrr, arrrr! LOL! Please.....nothing whatsoever to do with race. An English seafarer could be described as "swarthy" if he'd been tanned by the sun while sailing his pirate ship. I guess you have never been on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney World! Your journalistic approach has changed a lot in four years and not for the better, that's a shame! I have a recipe for you: SWARTHY PIRATE'S COFFEE - INGREDIENTS: 1 oz. Spiced Rum, 6 oz Coffee, Splash of Vanilla Extract. DIRECTIONS: Start if off with a hot cup of coffee, brand doesn't matter. Add spiced rum and top if off with just a splash of vanilla extract. Serve with cookies and invite all the Marxist Flyer's snowflakes.
