Re: “Tornado Alley

It's technically not an IMAX theater anymore. They lost their IMAX certification during the recent remodel when they went digital and chose a cheaper company to provide the new projection equipment.

Re: “"Célèbre Visages et Portraits"

OPENING NIGHT: April 25, 2014 (6pm-9pm)- April 27th

A strong element in any form of art has always been the human figure and faces (facial expressions). The human figure essentially has given life to many traditions in painting such as photo-realism and even abstract expressionism. This is why we are proud to have our next show focus on the idea of human figures and faces.

This show features four amazing female artists displaying their portraiture works.
International artist, Geneviève "Gene" Garand, is best known for her collection "Garand Ole Opry,” which contributed to her receiving a Gold Medal, awarded by The Arts Club. Also known for her feature and cover art for Steam Magazine, she is inspired by her travels and love of music. She enjoys using different techniques to give each object her own individualized perception.
Drea L. Powell, creator of dreART™, has also shown at Marshall Art Gallery's Hip Hop Art show as well as the 2013 Kaleidoscope event. Her
Another local artist, Molly Aiken (MollyPop) is also a musician and a student. Her portraiture style, inspired by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Keith Harring, draws from pop culture and has a pop art feel that also reflects her subject matter.
Our last artist in the show is photographer Nicole Robbins, who’s photography was recently returned from being on display in Florence, Iltaly, is a Memphis artist by way of Atlanta Georgia. Her works capture emotion and expression all through a Nikon D60.

Whether you’re enjoying Trolley Tour night or just out enjoying the amazing streets of Memphis, come check us at out KOART Gallery at 10. South Main. In addition to these can’t miss ladies, musical acts on Friday include moniker me "Me. Thomas" twist, Dick Solomon, and Clift Anthony. Saturday's performers will be Xanthe Mumm and Nate Boogie. While opening night is April 25th, 2014 at 10 S. Main 6pm-9pm, we will also be open on the 26th as well as the 27th.

Re: “"Dentistry with a Heart"

I cannot thank you enough for providing this INVALUABLE service! I am acquainted with several people who need this service badly, and would appreciate learning when this is held every year. Please offer a bit more advance publicity in the lower income areas of Memphis . . . God bless you!

Re: “The Poodle Brandy 3

Sho do luv me some Poodle Brandy! Y'all straight kick it out of the ball park each and every time you perform. The ecclectic mix of music, combined with the vocal harmonies leave me yearning for more. That Justin White is one cool cat!

I know her and I know she is twisted and using people, I know she manipulates folks to feel sorry for her-> pity! I don't believe she has Leukemia because she never has it till she needs to use it. Tawnee's main draw is to plaster her sites with her nude photos. Yes! She is a photographer and she constantly takes and post nude shots of herself to get attention and get the guys interested then she makes up a story of abuse to get more pity. Tawnee is currently in with the Mmj movement in Seattle hempfest-> they are still suffering the effects from a psycho-sociopath that was diagnosed by a health care professional in 2010. Tawnee exhibits the same personality disorder that has spread throughout the hempfest group-> Secondary Sociopath's! Evidently the psycho-sociopath is also a heavy mind-controller and he has been busy creating copy's of himself, perhaps Tawnee has had a past experience with this twisted character?

very funny
either you are all off your meds
or all underage

Men admitted to harming this girl, in their own words.
The article you have all taken over was for a fundraiser that my foundation put on for her in Memphis. It was a great event and had nothing to to do with Wings Cancer event.
The only reason I have even come on here is I get every single response to this article since I posted the ad. Find a different outlet, this is not your page, nor your story, nor even in your state.

If you are in a group that depends on solidarity and reasonable good working relationships in order to progress with your cause/business, and greater than typical conflict and drama seems to have originated at the time when Tawnee Cowan entered your group, there is no question that this is more than mere coincidence. It is a repeat pattern, it appears by these comments and by others I've spoken with with in regards to Tawnee. If you've not yet been entangled in any Tawnee web, I can only say to keep her at a safe distance and warn those who you trust- and who trust you - to do the same and why. Splitting up groups over her broadly reported claims of being the victim of disgusting yet extremely contrived appearing schemes - such as someone touched her rear end, roofied her, stole her work, is harassing her, etc - is the type of drama or slander you would expect. Drama travels with wait... DRAMA IS TAWNEE.

If you could SPELL "satire", I might believe you actually know what it advanced degree in English lit tells me it is NOT satire, which I can also spell. Sociopaths lie. Always. And narcissists ALWAYS have to respond.

Her private comment to me about my post here...(I live in Washington) was "YOU have a MESS to clean up" Odd, as I didn't consider a comment about my experience with her, out of state, a MESS, and don't recall contracting to be one of her feckless minions. Classic narcissist...she threatened me with loss of friendship and community here if I "outed" her. Nice.

I think when many people are telling the same story, with NOTHING to gain, and the individual has little or NO cooborating support, and MUCH to refute or gain, the group has the closer spin on the truth. I seriously see pictures when I hug someone, and I was careful to hug Tawnee many times when we met....something in her slithers away from my light. Something very black, that she loves.

Re: “Pre-St Patty's Day Pub Crawl

Use of "St. Patty" as the diminutive for Saint Patrick shows an embarrassing ignorance of Irish culture. We all know that the diminutive of "Patrick" is "Pat". "St. Paddy" --- with D instead of T --- is the diminutive for the Irish language name for Patrick ---- PADRAIG. Maybe you've heard of the of the golfer Padraig Harrington? That's the Irish name of the saint that the Irish celebrate

It's ST. PADDY's DAY people! (or if you prefer --- Saint Pat's Day, based on the English name --- or maybe even St. Patsy's Day, although I've never seen that used.) For more info, look up the name "Patrick" at the "" web site.
