Shelby County's positive rate for COVID-19 fell for the third day in a row Sunday, a day of high testing.

Health Department Halts Free Face Masks on Chemical Concerns

The Shelby County Health Department (SCHD) has stopped the distribution of the state's face masks over concerns about a chemical with which the masks have been treated.

Positive Rate Slides Again After Surge

The rate of positive COVID-19 cases fell again Saturday after a five-day increases in cases this week. Positive cases fell Friday to 7 percent from Thursday's rate of 8.8 percent.
