CRB members should have to complete the Citizen's Academy and ride along at least a few times a month with officers in all parts of the city. Otherwise, they will be nothing more than Monday morning quarterbacks, most with some sort of grudge against the police.

There are only two sure bets for the August election. Bill Oldham will stay Sheriff, and Luttrell will stay mayor. Luttrell will get substantial Memphis support, and everyone in their right mind outside of Memphis will run to the polls to vote against Malone.
