Re: “Nightmares Do Come True

The absolutely most amazing thing about this story is... there are citizens of Memphis who actually receive ON-SCHEDULE, ON-TIME trash and recycling collection...?!! Obviously she does NOT live in the areas "serviced" by contractor Waste Pro, who have yet to pick up last week's waste... and earlier.

Re: “Green Dad Meets Iggy Poo

BVW remains one of truly enlightened human beings in the local press, and can still make me laugh. Thank you, Bruce - don't EVER stop, please!

"Simple and straightforward and good. Like everything else on the menu."
EXCELLENT dining philosophy! Also like the enclosed patio concept - we don't go to midtown (or downtown) much, but this may be worth a try, once it opens.

Re: “Pelosi Has Got to Go

I do not believe that I have ever agreed more with an editorial commentary (or "Rant") as much as I do with this one; Randy Haspel's insights are absolutely SPOT ON. It's time for the DNC to reboot and upgrade with a newer, more currently informed (i.e., smarter) leadership, or WE WILL LOSE against the Trumpian idiocracy in forthcoming elections like, forever.

(Btw: Even though he's 78, I would be willing to draft Willie Herenton to go up against Trump as the democratic contender in 2020 - no shit. He's pugnacious, but can be eloquent when needed - plus he's about six inches taller than Trump. Size matters nowadays...;-)
