Re: “Attorney General Working on Jail Release, Dismissed 'Hundreds' of Cases

Victim-less crime charges (drugs) should be immediately dropped. If you are a rapist, murderer or have assaulted someone, you should be buried under 201.

Re: “Happy Halloween: A Tribute to Sivad and Fantastic Features

Memphis was a great place to grow up in back in the 60's. We lived in Whitehaven which was crime free back then. Shame that the natives were allowed to go wild and destroy the city. Sivad's opening film with him driving the hearse was very scary. Anyone remember Voodoo Village? Channel 13 had the scary movies while WREG-3 had the classics. Memphis was once a very great city.

Re: “Confederate Statues Gone for Good

The communists were adroit at erasing history; making people places and things vanish from the history books. Now the scrubbing of history has begun in amerika to appease the snowflakes, the mentally ill, the rabid left and those who need something to rage against. The monuments are historical relics from the past. The sane understand history and let it be. The insane do not understand anything except rage and anger. Little by little the look of a nation changes. This is a nation in decline.

Re: “Al's Golfdom & Al's Golfhaven

Many happy times were spent at Al's in Whitehaven. Coming down that rainbow colored slide was always scary. Riding the go carts. Playing pinball or putt putt. Then it was time to go home. If it had gotten late and dark I didn't dare bicycle through the woods to my house on Hudgins which was a short cut. We moved out of Memphis in 1976 due to the crime. And now Al's is gone. Life is short.
