Re: “A Memphis Circus Family from the late 1800s

I think that the photographer may have been Y Day (Yearly Day, born Ohio, 1821?). He is listed in Memphis City Directories from 1865 through 1874. 1880 census shows a Y Day, artist, living in Jackson, MS. At least, this narrows the timeframe for the search.

Re: “Burger Chef in 1968

The photo may be from 1968, but these three women are from the graduating class of 1969 -- I was in the same class and I remember them all. The schedule was not hard to remember. G day was set aside for special activities. Regular classes were held on A-F days. Some classes were held every A-F day. Other longer classes such as science labs were held either A-C-E days or B-D-F days -- sort of like a college schedule.

Re: “Miss McKellar Lake

I remember seeing a photo of Micki Slover in my sister's yearbook (Immaculate Conception mid-1960s). She was a twin — her sister was named Vicki.
