Re: “About Last Night: Desperation Heaves and a Big Game Friday

Series can, and have turned on a dime albeit a nickel the Spurs put down to tie the game up. Don't get carried away overzealous Grizz fans, that's why they make you win 4 to advance. I wouldn't be looking past the Spurs just yet... Portland did that once... Then Sean Elliott turned the series around with his own version of what Gary Neil did last night.

@kference: "Embarrassed"? Really? You're acting as though the Grizzlies are the perverbial "girl" who beat the boy. Why would put your team in that light? Could it be, you underestimated your own team? The Grizzlies are by no means a true 8 seed. They are a collection of young team players who are playing very well together... You should give your team more credit rather than waste energy talking about how San Antonio fans don't deserve a good team... You don't hear SA Players saying "We feel no pressure because noone thought we'd get this far...".

I know the columnist was just trying to rally fans. That's cool. But don't blur the reality that beyond Game 5 AND the fact that there is a game tomorrow, that neither team has really shown any indication of "totally shaking" the other. Else, you'd be reading the pre-game analysis of who's next for who... Mr. Herrington should hope that he's not writing about "The one that got away" should the Spurs close out this series. What would be more embarrassing then? The 1 seed losing to the 8? Or being up 3-1 and losing the series? Keep on keeping on fans!
