Re: “WTF? LaTroy, You Got Some (More) ‘Splainin’ to Do!

Wilkins campaign should either publicly denounce and reject this tactic or discontinue being surprised when the press (and voters) make them own it.

Re: “Wilkins Claim of AFSCME Endorsement Fails to Materialize

Dear God, this is humiliating to watch...

This is so awful for any strategist to try and explain away on a resume. "Aren't you the girl who called a press conference regarding a huge endorsement without the endorser or a formal letter of endorsement or phone call? I think we will pass, but do you know if John Marek is available?"

Re: “Joe Brown, Champion of Diversity?

Impunity: exemption from punishment or freedom from the injurious consequences of an action.

Can I assume you're a member of the far-right by the fact that you don't know the definition of words?

And Julius, right-wing bigotry right on time. That train is never late. I'm sure Amy is thrilled to have surrogates such as yourself representing her.

Re: “Joe Brown, Champion of Diversity?

Vs a candidate of inaction that grants impunity to those who abuse members of the LGBT community, I'd take Joe any day.

Not to mention, were still wondering when Amy will answer to the 12000 women of Shelby County whos rape kits remained untested as their perpetrators got away.

She's just a neocon in a skirt.

You really despise the gay and female community of Shelby County that much?

Re: “Joe Brown, Champion of Diversity?

I've noticed something else too:

Nobody seems to be mentioning Weirichs policy for the LGBT community either. I come back here a day later and still nothing?

Re: “Joe Brown, Champion of Diversity?

This statement is 90% policy substance and what's being attacked is lofty rhetoric. Every one of these proposals is beneficial to the LGBT community, as opposed to DA Weirich who has offered nothing in the way of reform.

All we've seen is a District Attorney who has allowed officers to beat transgenders with impunity and completely disregard the application of justice to the LGBT community.

Anyone care to defend her record?

Re: “Administrator Holden Survives Stormy SCEC Meeting

I think its evident that the time has come to shine a brighter light on Commissioner Monger. He is more than just a fresh face for the black community and the Democratic party. He's young, bold, and a heavy academic/intellectual. It's been a while since that demographic has been represented in Shelby County.

  • Joe Brown, Champion of Diversity?

Er, we had it all wrong, it seems. The errant D.A. candidate is really a champion of the LGBT community and somehow misspoke himself. Take his word for it in a new statement from his Facebook page.
