Re: “Station Break: WEVL Board Faces a Member Uprising

I'm not surprised at the current state of the station. I was a member of the station and programmer, from 1990-1997...midnight to 2am, then later 4am-6am..and even in the mid to late 1990's, WEVL, had the same on going problems..which has gotten much worst over the past 21 years...much of the blame can be placed on the laps of the current station mgr, and program director...who tend to run the station, like their personal mega maniac empire..Those salaried positions were never set up to be long termed gigs..yet, both Dorsey and Craig, have been in those slots for well over 20 plus years...The station needs some upgrading with equipment, and more..and why it hasn't been done, is a mystery..as FM 90, has always had a good cash flow from sources such as pledge drives, blues on the bluff, etc. The station owes a debt of thanks to Both Dorsey and Craig, but clearly, it's time to move on, with fresh leadership..opening the station up to new ideas, programmers, and more...and the current staff, is unable-or unwilling to make this happen. FM 90 is on life support.

Re: ““Battle for Cooper-Young” at Crosstown Arts

it was a long birthing process...22 months..from it's initial poster, to the final one. (26) come and draw your own conclusions..one of the perks, of our Republic.

Re: “Infill Frenzy: More 'Tiny Homes' Could Be Headed for Cooper-Young

greed is the engine, that drives this project. 50 years from now, the majority of 'em, will be slums...
