Re: “Change Was in the Cards for Memphis Tarot Readers

Re: She relented and said a virtual reading “doesn’t interfere with the messages and the ability to give a good reading.”

Is that quote accurate? Sure she didn’t say a virtual reading “doesn’t interfere with the ability to process a rube’s credit card charge.”?

Re: “Shelby County Still Headed to Phase III as Cases Spike

Director Haushalter should tell us what levels of illness, hospitalization, and death in Shelby County would make her uncomfortable.

One gets the sense that the decision to move to phase III was pre-ordained and not data-driven.

Re: “Trump Day in Millington

Thank you, Jackson, for the follow-up.

I didn't intend to imply that attendance at the Trump event is equivalent to support. But there's all too much "checking out the show" and otherwise silence by rational local Republicans concerning the danger that is Trump.

Re: “Trump Day in Millington

Good to know that Steve Erhardt was in attendance. Inquiring minds also want to know the names of "any number of local GOP regulars" whom Baker spotted there. There's no need to protect their names, is there? C'mon, be loud, be proud, be proto-fascist!
