Re: “Paul Stanley: Other Politicians Falling Short of Moral Perfection

It's important to remember that when a Democrat is involved in a sex scandal (Clinton, Edwards, Spitzer), an immoral, hypocritical adulterer has finally shown his true colors.

When a Republican is entrapped into a sex scandal, a decent, God-fearing Christian only showed he is human like all of us, and this uncharacteristic lapse in judgment should not overshadow his strong moral beliefs and dedication to his constituents.

Re: “Stanley Paramour Mackensie Morrison's Checkered Past

Stanley deserves forgiveness for this. Democrats who have affairs with interns are lying, immoral adulterers who are exposed for what they are. Republicans who do so are good, decent God-fearing people who simply made a mistake that should not overshadow their honorable character and strong moral convictions.

Wow - I've just seen some pictures of McKensie Morrison. She should be speaking to Playboy - there's more than 1 way to make money off this, and the Playboy option is not illegal...

Re: “State Senator Paul Stanley, Blackmail Victim or Self-Victimizer?

In response to those who think Stanley is being held to a higher standard than others (like some Democrats) upon learning of his adultery, I suggest that he should be because of his moralistic statements and condemnations of others for failing to meet his moral standards.

Put another way, I would be more outraged if the President of MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) was arrested for DUI than if it was someone else. You expect someone crusading against drunk driving to be more careful themselves about doing it.

Re: “State Senator Paul Stanley, Blackmail Victim or Self-Victimizer?

“OK, Just for the sake of argument lets say there are photos of a Stanley affair and it was all true. (I have no knowledge of that one way or the other) Is that illegal? No. While unseemly, he has not broken any legal law. To his credit he went above what many would do and called the cops when being shaken down. I am sure he knew when he did, that it would come out and it would not be pretty. He stood up to the blackmailer and did the right thing anyway. A lesser person would have caved, given the money and hoped it never came out.” - Rep. Stacey Campfield

Unbelievable. He breaks his marriage vows and reveals himself as a breathtaking moral hypocrite, and Rep. Campfield is complimenting him on his behavior because he wouldn't allow himself to be blackmailed?

I expect that if Stanley robbed a bank, hid the cash for months and then surrendered when police surrounded his house, Campfield would praise him for not resisting arrest.
