Re: “Read the Anna Mae He Ruling — From the Source

I just feel sorry for Anna Mae. As one comment that was posted earlier said about her own experience from being taken from her home, Anna Mae's life has been totally messed up and we have no idea how horribly she feels inside. The Bakers loved her and raised her and now at 8 years old her life totally changes. How will that play in her life later on? What does she feel inside? Did anyone ask her?? This is not about race, this is about a little girl who has known only one set of parents and that was the Bakers. Everyone always wants to put race into battles and decisions but what does race really have to do with this, she (Anna Mae) is a child of God, just like all of us, white, black, Chinese, whatever color you may be, we are all the same inside, and I feel for Anna Mae and the Bakers and my prayers go out to them. I just pray that Anna Mae gets thru this and has a good life and I pray the Bakers will somehow fill the void that this horrible decision has made for them. Just put yourself in the 8 year old shoes and stop and think how you would feel at 8 years old being taken from the only family, home, friends and parents you had ever known, how scary at the age of 8 to have to go thru this type of battle.
