Re: “Q&A: Jeffrey Hernandez

Had Ms. Cashiola done her homework that well, she might have also posited other reasons for Mr. Hernandez to be working for less than his "usual" fee, e.g. he barely got out of Palm Beach County with his skin on. TiNT, the facebook group, is just a small more vocal outlet of the real outrage that rocked the education community, students and parents. There are two schools of thought on education: Children are different, dynamic, creative and curious, and we've been doing a crappy job teaching them since the end of the 19th century. Then there's the Accountability Gang that think every student is uniformly the same, and that all we need is routine hoop-jumping, er, testing, to bring up scores. Mr. Hernandez is from that dim Orwellian nightmare and we wish you luck, Memphis. He is, in my opinion, a disaster. Oh! We're working on getting rid of the guy who hired this idiot, Superintendent Art Johnson. You have any openings for him? 2-for-1? Any takers?
