Re: “Theatre Memphis Revives “The Heiress”

A nice trip down memory lane about a play and a role for which I have treasured memories, especially about working with Jo Malin, Bennett Wood, and Tony, and wearing Andre's stunning costumes, which are even more lovely this second time around. However, I must say, Elizabeth Almond, Austin Sloper's rarely seen sister is not in the least eccentric; unlike the "romantic" Lavinia, Elizabeth is the most reasonable of the siblings. So, this time, I, like Barclay, am playing against type.

Re: “Remembering Dorothy Blackwood. Services Set for Monday, June 9

Dorothy was the dearest person and the most generous of actresses on stage and off. I viewed Dot as a mentor and had the good fortune of sharing the stage with her several times over the years; like countless others, I basked in her warmth, love, and support. A deeply, profoundly beautiful woman of boundless energy, she lived life to the fullest and probably never made an enemy. I will miss her terribly and will always, always love her.

Re: “SOS: MAMMA MIA needs help

I'm glad to know I'm not the only person who finds "Mama Mia" cloying and boring.
