Cohen Wins 9th; Corker Tops Ford for Senate 

State senator Steve Cohen won a solid victory over Jake Ford and Mark White, taking 60 percent of the vote in the race for 9th District congressman. State-wide, Harold Ford Jr.'s quest for the senate fell 47,000 votes short. Despite winning more than 60 percent of the vote in Shelby and Davidson Counties, Ford lost to Bob Corker, who made up lots of ground in rural East Tennessee.
