"and one protester will be dressed as an elephant covered in blood." That should scare the children to leave them poor elephants alone. There is a time and place for everything, and scaring little children in a place that has held many wonderful memories for year is the evil part in this story. Shame on you!!! Colonel Robert

I still haven't gotten over Ford being allowed to vote on the removal of himself and Peete from the city council. That's like being defendant and jury member at the same time!
Way to go Ardent! But I miss the days when there were studios and bars all over Memphis with the best Traditional Country music ever. In Memory of Bill Glore/American Studios, Tom & Lil/Western Steakhouse & Lounge, and one of my favorite bars from the past was "The Lonesome Bar" on Cooper where they shot part of the movie "Lennigrad Cowboys Goes America"! It was own by Robert & Irene Morris
I was born in Memphis and loved being a Memphian. Somewhere along the way it all changed. Beautiful landmarks like the Zippin Pippin joined other heros of a bygone day to live only in the hearts and memories of those who grew up with them! Maybe they should call it the "New Memphis" because the Memphis that I and many many others loved and treasured has died!!!

What a welcome relief to all of the usual negative news we've been overwelmed with. Thanks for a little humor, and a little poking fun at the sad issue at MLGW. We hope Charley comes out OK. Colonel Robert Morris 'as soon as my guitar sobers up I can go home'
