Corey Osborn

At age 23, Corey Osborn already had made a name for himself as one of the best young musicians in Memphis. He got his first guitar at age 11, and at just 15, his band, Corey Osborn & the Rhythm System, placed in the 2001 International Blues Competition at Blues City Café. By age 16, he was performing at various venues on Beale, awing audiences with his amazing guitar skills. He became a regular performer at B.B. King's Blues Club, even opening for B.B. King on occasion. On November 28th, Osborn was killed in a car accident. His family, friends, and fans will miss him dearly.
