Re: “Locals Protest at Intersection of Poplar and Highland

First of all, I would like to say that I am proud of the Memphis protesters for keeping the peace and protesting as one should.

Secondly, B, there were no charges brought against Michael Brown or Dorian Johnson nor were they tried nor convicted. Mr Brown got just punishment for attacking a police officer. My point being, a lot of people are saying he was such an innocent young boy and didn't do anything wrong. Are they missing the point that just minutes earlier, the two had just committed a crime? Dorian Johnson should be in jail for being an accessory to a crime and Michael Brown should be treated as a criminal, not an 18 year old unarmed boy walking in the middle of the street (holding a stolen box of cigars.) The system is flawed, granted, but in this case, I think they got it right.

Re: “Locals Protest at Intersection of Poplar and Highland

Is Michael Brown going to be charged for Agravated Robbery? Or Striking a police officer? Or resisting arrest? Is Dorian Johnson going to be charged as an accessory? Or in possession of stolen property? What happened to all of those crimes?!
