Sixty-one-year-old entrepreneur B.J. Whitman was quoted in a recent A.P. article as saying, 'Every town needs a barbershop and Memphis is no exception.' Whitman's barbershop,which will be open only on Mondays, is the first business to open in Memphis -- Mississippi, that is -- since the town incorporated in 1973.
