Eat It and Read It at Davis-Kidd

As a kid, you might have flipped through comic books, imagining your muscled-up heroes springing off the page and into our living rooms. As adults, we do the same thing with cookbooks. What if that juicy rib roast with porcini and red wine sauce could just pop right off the page and onto the dinner table?

Well, on Tuesday, March 13, that’s exactly what will happen at the Bronte Bistro in Davis-Kidd Booksellers. The four-course dinner event will feature selections from different cookbooks sold in the store. Each course will be served with a paired wine.

The event will be the first in a series of “Corks & Courses,” to be held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Visit Davis-Kidd's Web site for more info.
