Re: “Dying to Fit In

First, I would like to say that I never said that the gangs in Memphis are wanna bees. Let me introduce myself. I am Elliott the gang investigator that is featured in this article. I lived in South Memphis (Fowler Holmes) for over 18 years, I attended Booker T Washington. I went to school with G-Train. So I am very aware of L.M.G. Now back to your commit. Memphis gang members are not as organized as they are up North and out West. Most of the gang members do not know the history of the gang that they are in. They do not follow the teaching of the Traditional Gangs, nor are they true. The O.G.'s are younger here in Memphis. You have more followers that you have leaders. L.M.G.'s is a Non-Traditional gang. Have you researched how and why George Hughlett was killed? But I am glad that you read this article after it was posted over two years ago. You must admit, my story is still true today...Elliott
