Sound Advice

WREG news reporter Luke Jones looks into the camera and tells Memphis' would-be muggers how it's supposed to be done.

"Normally, if you're out to rob someone and don't have a gun, you might use one of these," he said, brandishing a wicked-looking lock blade knife. Jones used the sharp, shiny visual aid to illustrate the story of Fred Hobson, who was "robbed at swordpoint" by two men in front of the Brown Jug liquor store on Summer.

According to reports, there was no description of the sword, but that didn't stop WREG from cutting away to this bad boy on several occasions.

According to WMC-TV, the Memphis Police Department is "searching for a man accused of exposing himself to at least one woman, possibly more, in downtown Memphis." A security photo of "the Creeper" was posted online showing the man to be bearded and heavily pixelated.

Neverending Elvis

"Elvis bit him on the leg, and Henderson became tangled in the leash and fell to the floor. He was treated by firefighters for the bite."

From a JAX News-4 report about a man bitten by an adoptable dog named Elvis before a Jacksonville City Council meeting. File under Florida Dog Bites Florida Man.
