According to an Australian news report, "Victoria's star of the sky" water bomber helicopter is named Elvis the Helitanker, and Elvis has returned to Melbourne ahead of the bushfire season. Peter Ryan, Victorian deputy premier and minister for bushfire response — a brilliant title if there ever was one — was quoted saying that, "Elvis was a remarkable machine who helped to protect Victoria for many years."

Neverending Elvis II
Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, and Robert Plant recently appeared on the David Letterman show to discuss sex, Vikings, Vikings having sex, Vikings having sex with hobbits and Elvis. The hot inside scoop from Robert Plant: "Elvis had a lot of chicks."

Wigging
Memphis police are currently on the lookout for a man who robbed the Bank of America in Raleigh last week wearing what had been described as a "woman's wig." Police advise that the suspect is believed to be armed and fabulous.
