Former Lt. Gov. Wilder Hospitalized in Nashville

State Senator John Wilder of Somerville, who only recently announced that he would seek reelection to his District 26 seat and began an aggressive fund-raising campaign, has been hospitalized in Nashville for pneumonia.

Octogenarian Wilder was the state's lieutenant governor for 36 years before Republican Ron Ramsey was elected to that position last year. More details concerning Wilder's condidtion will be forthcoming when they become available.

Wilder was hospitalized last year for some time following a fall at his Somerville residence.
