Re: “Commercial Appeal Editor To Staff: "Work From a Coffee Shop."

Glad to see them go, the Press Scimitar was better anyway and it died long ago

Re: “Memphis Makes a Change

Hypocrisy is another word for dishonesty, and liberal another word for dishonest.

Reading the Memphis Flyer is like traveling to an alternate universe where up is down, especially when the editor himself decries and is "saddened" when former Mayor Herenton took "cheap shots" at AC Wharton but mere moments before, took the cheapest of cheap shots at former governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee.

Now keep in mind, I am no fan of Mike Huckabee but I am also no fan of the dishonest.

You chose to use the word "Christian" as if it were a four letter word, then had the unmitigated audacity to add "sleaze ball" ?? And you call that being "progressive" inclusive, open minded and tolerant.

You sir and your liberal rag are the real sleaze balls.

Re: “Crazy Is Everywhere

Amen :) so very true and it's sad that so many want to paint innocents in this tragedy with the broad brush of complicity. ie talk show host, Sarah Palin and the Tea Party to name a few :(

Re: “It Gets Curiouser: MSC Board Votes to Meet and Consider New Stand-Down Plan from County

it strikes me as odd how Otis Sanford and much of the black community ignore what is really wrong in the black community and think that throwing these black students into a school with more white students will somehow erase the irreparable harm that teenage girls having babies (like Frayser High School) does to the black community as a whole :) if you'd spend half the time cleaning up what is wrong in your community from within you'd see actual results and higher test scores and an ability to become something other than welfare mothers and low paid employees at a dead end job.
