Lots of art openings tonight. They are at: Painted Planet Artspace for works by Chuck Johnson and Jeremiah Stansbury, with live music by Robert Wolfman Belfour; Java Cabana for works by (the lovely) Ann Diggs; FRONTspace for work by Eric Saxon; Perry Nicole Fine Art for work by Tom Leaver; David Lusk Gallery for works by David Tomb and John Torina (love his paintings); Grace Place for works by Lisa Weiss; and at The Dixon Gallery and Gardens, it s Art on Tap, with beer tastings, live entertainment, food, and tours of the museum. Comedian Margaret Cho is at The Orpheum tonight. Today kicks off the annual International Goat Days Family Festiva in Millington, and if you haven t seen the television ads for this you haven t lived.DJ Mr. White, although he is a freak, is at Melange tonight. And, as always, The Chris Scott Band is at Poplar Lounge.
