Just one art opening tonight: a One Night Art Event that features an installation of multimedia pieces behind 656 Madison Avenue. Ballet Memphis: weekend production of The Nutcracker opens at The Orpheum. The two-night 93X Christmas Concert and Charity Auction kicks off at the New Daisy, with live music by local acts and national recording artists. DJs Witnesse, Saturna, and B. Iskiwitz are doing their thing at Automatic SlimÂs. Eighty-Katie and Crash Into June are at the Hi-Tone. Neckbones and Compulsive Gamblers are at Young Avenue Deli. And the good ol Mudflaps are at it again, playing tonight at the Lounge in the Gibson Guitar Factory.
