More art openings: They are at David Lusk Gallery for work by Pam Wagner; Rhodes College s Clough-Hanson Gallery for work by Cedar Nordbye; Perry Nicole Fine Art for work by Bob Short and Don Morgan; Albers Art Gallery for work by Allison Stewart; Java Cabana for work by Ann Diggs; and Lisa Kurts Gallery for work by Jeff Aeling. Two plays open tonight: Hello, Dolly! at Theatre Memphis, and Homegrown at Buckman Performing and Fine Arts Center, the first show of the season by Voices of the South. And speaking of homegrown, my Memphis men Ingram Hill are playing a Make-A-Wish Foundation benefit concert tonight at the Grand Casino in Tunica. By all means worth the quick road trip. Ballet Memphis kicks off their weekend run of Momentum 4 tonight on the rooftop of the Gibson Lounge. The Angry Puppeteers are at the Full Moon Club. There s The Gamble Brothers CD-Release Party at the Hi-Tone. The Subteens, Go Fast, and Justice Naczyez are at Young Avenue Deli. And as always, The Chris Scott Band is at Poplar Lounge.
