Two art openings tonight: at David Lusk Gallery for paintings of the sky by Memphis legend Veda Reed; and at Perry Nicole Fine Art for paintings by Nashville artist Kit Reuther. The Memphis Grizzlies play Houston tonight at FedExForum. On stage it s opening night of Peter Pan at Playhouse on the Square, and a dramatic recreation of Orson Welles radio broadcast The War of the Worlds at CBU. There s a CD-Release Party for Bryan Hayes, with Kim Richardson and David Weatherman, tonight at the Hi-Tone. One of Memphis most up-and-coming indie bands, Augustine, is headlining tonight s post-election weekend show at The Complex, hosted by Doublespeak Productions and DiviedByPolitics.com and also featuring performances by Antique Curtains and The Keep. And, as always, The Chris Scott Band is at the Hi-Tone.
