FUNNY BECAUSE IT'S TRUE DEPARTMENT

It s a mad mad mad mad mad world. At least it is to the twisted cartoonists responsible for Mad magazine. This month the bad boys at Mad, in one of their infamous film spoofs, lampoon the FedEx commercial, er, major motion picture Cast Away and take a couple of shots at Memphis in the process. At one point the Tom Hanks character says, The loneliness of this God-forsaken place. There are no signs of civilization. There are no signs of intelligent life. Actually it s not unlike Memphis!
