Griz Burned by Suns; Have Worst Backcourt in NBA

Amare Stoudemire, who missed all but three games last season following two knee surgeries, scored a season-high 25 points Saturday night as the Phoenix Suns snapped a four-game losing streak with a 96-87 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. And Flyer Grizzlies writer Chris Herrington says "the worst starting backcourt in the NBA belongs the Grizzlies: Damon Stoudamire and Eddie Jones, and it isn't even close."

The final score Saturday night was much more respectable than the game itself. At one point in third quarter, the Suns led by 34 points.
