I felt strongly pro- landmarks restrictions when I lived in midtown, and probably would if I still lived there (and I miss it). But theres a growing national movement, YIMBY or Yes In My Back Yard (as opposed to NIMBY), that promotes denser, more affordable, more energy efficient housing in urban areas.
