Re: “Can Raleigh Spring Back?

I was a longtime resident of Raleigh. Even though my family moved away, we still frequently travel through there. It still has our favorite Walmart and Sears. I disagree with those who say the Raleigh Springs Mall will never see it's former glory, especially due to the proximity of Wolfchase. Wolfchase is NOT the easy & convenient drive people who don't actually live in Raleigh make it out to be. There is definitely enough money in the area to sustain a thriving mall. I remember the short period when there were four anchor stores, even while Wolfchase existed. It wasn't a lack of customers that caused those stores to leave. They were always bustling. It was corporate greed, pure and simple.
