"So finding better economic solutions is bad?" Well, the bottom line isn't everything. I can save a lot of money by not paying for an oil change for my car. I might even get 4 years out of it before I sell it. Then its someone else's problem. And if they have to spend thousands to get it fixed, well, THEY'RE the ones "wasting" money due to my negligence.

"When did government become employment agencies?" I guess once it offered services for the betterment of its citizens, regardless of their income. Keep in mind, these services don't go away just because you privatize it. All that privatizing does is allocate the expense in another way PLUS fund the profit for an out-of-state company (and probably a company that has personal or business ties to the government official making the decision.)
