Kurita Withdraws from Senate Race 

State senator Rosalind Kurita announced at a 2 p.m. press conference today that she is withdrawing from the U.S. Senate Democratic primary. Kurita's exit leaves 9th District U.S. Rep. Harold Ford Jr. unopposed in his quest for the Democratic nomination.
