Re: “EDGE Says Yes to a 108-unit Residence at Madison and McLean

I would hope MRG will conform to Midtown, we do not want glass trash builings. Please use this space wisely and make it fit with the image of midtown.. It is surrounded by beauty, to make a modern glass trash building would be a travesty to Midtown..

Re: “Greensward: Mediation Costs Rise, 'Fringe Element' Reviewed

Funny he has a slip of tongue and it was taken out of context? We totally understood how he meant it. What I do not get is why, why the fast tracking, railroading, bulldozing, and priority of having to do it now? Without all the documentation that goes with it, even other counsel persons voiced that concern. Adding it the agenda within the consent, not allowing the people's voice's to be heard until after "after" they passed it. It all reeked of dirty politics and back door deals. I am most disturbed by the blatant disregard of respect shown to the people that asked questions. Questions that went mostly unanswered, and if somewhat addressed, it came disgruntled, accompanied by a shove of the mic across the table. Is that really anyway to treat a taxpayer, resident of this city? Such distain shown by talking down to others, because they questioned it upstairs. One person downstairs being told they were out of time, while they were waiting for answer. Absolutely no one there deserved that type of treatment. Just my thoughts and observation of the whole affair.... Lisa
