This past weekend i finally decieded to give the pizze stone a try, even though many of my friends have dined there with mixed reviews, mostly bad. Since i've been in the resturant business myself for over 20yrs, if im interested in trying a new place regardless of what i've heard,i'm there, especially small, local owned places(hate corporaete)always willing to support the little guys! Im so sad, I was really hoping to be able to disprove what my friends had told me & talk them into giving them another shot, but I can't. I've been in this business long enough to know if the problem stems from the kitchen or waitstaff. This place it's the kitchen. We sat in the room that had the computer in it and I saw our server ring in our order shortly after she took it. We waited for over an hour for two pizze and they were not busy when we were there, which i guess is normal because when we asked our server if this was normal wait time for pizza her response was a quick "yeah" but then said "ain't nothing really normal about this place". makes me sad to say but I will never be back. Kitchen slow, server a girl think her name was Carey or Carby (ticket said some wierd name) very surly and aggitated, cute though. Probably why they keep her because my 4yr old niece has better manners than she did. I hate it for them because i was hoping for much better, hell, just nicer experience. But I know monkeys could do a better job than that crew does:(

So what is so bad about this place? The food or the service? I personally have not eaten there but several of my friends have with mixed reviews. I was told if i'm very hungry to eat a snack before going because it takes so long to get your food. To me that doesn't sound like a server problem (they're not cooking the food) sounds like a kitchen problem. What's so bad about putting dressing on the side? Look, in this economy you better do what the coustomer asks... they are the ones that keep your resturant open. I was also told that the bald manager is a idiot, last time my friends went an waited over an hour for one pizza, when he finally came over to the table he mumbled some crap about them losing there ticket and then walked off without even saying sorry. Sounds like very poor managment or nobody cares
