Re: “SideStreet Burgers

I have been to Side Street burgers a number of times and have never been let down. The cash only does make it difficult to go as a group for lunch break, perhaps he should consider a Square account...

Re: “Family Tradition

@beeswax.. why don't you mind your own? Let people make their own decision on what food to eat! Unless The Green Beetle is grabbing people from the street and forcing that burger down their throats why does it matter to you? I suspect there are plenty of items you ingest that are doing nothing to help you live a long life.

Re: “Into the Wild

Seriously Greg? I have to wonder if you saw the same movie I did. The ONLY redeeming quality of the movie... the visuals.

The score?? maybe Studio on the Square forgot to turn on the sound other wise that was about the LAZIEST score I have heard.

Oh I know - lets have a massive Dog trod along in the background and try to make it funny, what point did that serve?

I understand it was supposed to be a thought provoking film, but the only thought it provoked in me and much of the audience (not including the annoying first semester know it all film student sitting behind me) was how do we get our money back.

I LOVE a good thought provoking movie - as long as there is a REASON to make me think, something that is going to give me a greater insight on the world around me or the world within me. This just has me and my movie going friends pissed.

What age child do you think would "get this movie" I know a number of children ranging from 9 to 13 that didn't get it. The overwhelming review from these kids - 2 of which are honor students - came down to, "well that sucked"

So Greg I have to say - you are correct, it is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous to say "Where the Wild Things Are" is one of the best kids' movies in the 70 years since The Wizard of Oz."

Re: “Wanted: Dead, Not Alive

Greg, your joking right? I have started waiting for your reviews before going to a movie... as you have been wrong on every one. I went to see Wanted trusting it would be horrible, the previews looked good, the actors are great, and the story sounded excellent. But it still had the possibility to really suck. But I went simple because of Angelina - and came out amazed. It IS a good movie, infact one of the better movies I have seen in a while. It certainly blew the doors off of Indiana Jones, the TRUE worst movie of the DECADE. Was it as good as Iron Man, The Hulk, or Wall-E... no but those 3 movies were great and hard to live up to. Wanted, is a good movie that kept me entertained and my attention on the movie - not the loud people talking on the cell phone next to me. There were actual plot twists - that were unexpected, non "hollywood" endings, editing that made me feel as if I was part of the movie, and the naked backside of Angelina. Greg, perhaps your problem is that you wanted this to be the comic book, if so stay home and read the comic book and stop giving bad reviews of good movies.

Re: “Beale Street Music Fest 2008 Lineup Announced

I have to say - I am impressed with the lineup this year. I will actually attend in order to see the acts, not just because there is nothing else to do! There are bands that are actually WORTH the mud and crowds!!
