These comments are certainly more illuminating than Ryders argument. I just have one election for us to recall as an online community. In 1992 Bill Clinton won, George HW Bush lost and Ross Perot got ZERO electoral votes, even after getting nearly 19%. There is a big difference between our very limited and artificial democratic-style republic and a true democracy, but we would be better served as citizens to eliminate the electoral college, once and for all. The numbers speak for them selves.
