Re: “Richardson, Wicker Win District 89 Primaries

Well, DU does Memphis wrong again. At least Senator Ford will have a drinking buddy now.

Re: “Why Is This Guy So Angry? (Hint: It Has to Do With the District 89 Race)

It was my understanding after yesterday’s forum that Gallagher stated he would gladly retract some of the statements from his mailer, since it does appear Richardson voted out of this district some time back in the early 90s. And since nothing has changed in this area since then, I’m sure Ms. Richardson is completely up to date with the issues facing the people of this district, not just the voters her “manager” deems important enough to talk with. As for me and mine, I’m just waiting for one of her people to attempt to put a sign in my yard, without taking the time to talk with me, which seems to be their strategy for now.

Re: “Cohen Professes Full Support for Gallagher in District 89

The debate is Sunday, May 20, not Saturday.

Re: “Beverly Marrero Throws Hats in Ring for Cohen Seat

So, Beverly rode Steve's coattails to her currently role, and now feels the need to do it again. Has anyone thought to ask her if the state needs to fund another special election, should she win, to fill her position, or would she have better served the area by waiting until her position was up for re-election to try for a new office? Oh, and January doesn't have an "i" in it, just in case the staff at the flyer forgot.
