Now Running For Buck ... Stubby! 

You may have heard about the stunt at Tuesday night’s Northern League All-Star game, in which 94-year-old Buck O’Neil made a pair of pinch-hit appearances. You may not, however, have heard who pinch-ran for O’Neil and went on to earn the game’s MVP award. A player merely 61 years O’Neil’s junior, it was none other than former Memphis Redbirds fave Stubby Clapp. Read about the game here.
