This is a very disappointing abandonment of the journalist's duty to report the truth. I hope that the Flyer will have greater ethics when looking into the matter of the pickled pigs foot.

We saw the lime-chili ones recently. I have had microwave pork rinds before. They were actually pretty good, but they tend to burn easily. And they are nothing like good fresh ones like on the "Breakfast" dish at Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen. Also, fresh chicharrones rehydrated in salsa verde make incredible tacos.

We're headed to Symposium for the third year in a row. It's like a tent revival for folks who love food and the South -- lots of good fellowship and spreading the word about what is great about Southern food. John T. and the rest of the SFA do a remarkable job.
