Re: “Ernest Withers Reconsidered

"Martin Luther King was a Giant. He also had his personal weaknesses which do not diminish his stature by one iota in the fight to overturn institutional racism and injustice in the USA."

Of course not, that's why everybody works so hard to keep those weaknesses out of the public eye, because they would not "diminish his stature", or anything, right?

Help me out here, what was that line in one of his speeches? The one where he suggests that we should judge people by the content of their character?

That was like, you know, for other people, like Withers, right?

Thanks for clearing this all up. For a minute there I thought we were finally down to one set of standards, but it's clear we're still dealing with two of them.

So just to clarify, that crap about "judge a man not by the color of his skin, but the content of his character", that was all bullshit wasn't it?

Re: “Letters to the Editor

"Van, they have a Code of Ethics, as well as a Secret Liberal Agenda, but both are transparent and were lost somewhere around the office years ago."

As long as they had them, well I'm satisfied. They still have a leg up on the CA and Otis Sanford. They've never been troubled by the lack of either.
