I think if you are going to take one status down then they all should come down.
No matter what the cause of the civil war was it is and was the bloodiest war here in the U.S.
If you are going to take down status from the civil war then all status of Blacks that where made for fighting a cause for freedom should come down.
Because the civil war status are about freedom, free to live the way the South wanted too.
Not the way the North wanted them too.
If you are going to blame someone for slavery start with Africa where the black people where already slaves from birth.
What about the black slave owners, it wasn't only the whites who had slaves
Trying to remove history doesn't change it, It just makes it more talked about.
Yes Mr. Hill you are right the civil war didn't start over slavery, it started over money.
If you look up what was the top ten reason for the civil war Slavery in number five.
