Re: “Renee Zellweger Miscast in "Miss Potter"

Renee gave Beatrice Potter a strong, feisty personality. Her portrayal was not
that of a Victorian stereotype: she portrayed Beatrix as a woman who shunned
the constricting standards of the day and who grew into a woman of substance
with strong-minded ideas. Many artists play with their art and their imaginings to
give their work life. Renee caught the essence of artistic creation in her wild flights
of imagination. She did not live in the attic as John Branson insinuates. She lived
on the second floor. John evidently has a bipolar perception of realty.
