One more art opening for the weekend, today at Askew Ferguson Nixon Architects for Hanging Together, an exhibit of works by St. Mary s Episcopal School s students, parents, faculty, and staff. Tonight s John Calipari Celebrity Roast at the Holiday Inn at the University of Memphis includes roasters Buzz Peterson, Bobby Cremins, Billy Tubbs, and the often-hilarious Geoff Calkins. At The Lounge tonight it s Tha Movement featuring Herman Green & The Green Machine, Tha Soultrees, Valencia Robinson & Company, Mr. Bossanova, and Dave Agape. The Zach Myers Band and Hector are at High Point Pinch. Willie Covington is at Isaac Hayes Food, Music, Passion. The very, very wonderful Sandra Bray is at French Quarter Suites. The Wailers are at Newby s. And last but certainly not least, legendary jazz chanteuse Diane Schuur is at the New Daisy tonight.
