The Irish band Dervish is playing at the University of Memphis' Harris Auditorium tonight. One of the year's best fund-raising parties, the Midsouth Rhythm & Blues Party at Askew Nixon Ferguson Architects, benefits the Prter-Leath Children's Center. You can take a Sunset Dinner Cruise on one of the Memphis Queen Line's riverboats. Pat Benatar is at the Grand Casino. The Oxford-based gospel/blues band The Revelators are at Kudzu's. DJs Rick Stylus and Sean OD, who whoop it up at the M bar at Melange on Monday nights, are now there on Saturdays as well. Nashville Pussy and The Cooters are at Young Avenue Deli. And, finally, go out to dinner and help the families of the food- service people who died in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Cetner. Tonight's Windows of Hope is a project of the Memphis Restaurant Association in which member restaurants are donating 10 percent of their day's sales to the families. You can go to www.memphisrestaurants.com for a list of participating restaurants.
